Lucky Belly
I had the privilege of photographing my good friend Chrissy and her beautiful belly two Saturdays ago. It took a little to get her warmed up, but then she became very comfortable in front of the camera. She was a joy to work with and has recently been my guinea-pig for all my new photography “ventures.” I had a great time shooting the pictures and learned a lot about what I am really capable of doing in photography. So Chris, from the bottom of my heart; thanks for making it possible and I hope you like the photos!
Belly photography was always something I wanted to try, but never felt like I could pull off. There is something about a pregnant belly that is just so beautiful, so amazing. Now… the ones who know me best can tell you that I hated my pregnant belly, but there’s something different when you photographing someone else’s. Who knows, maybe next time I’m pregnant I may attempt a self portrait of my belly.
The slideshow below are some of my favorite pictures from this shoot.With slight hesitation, but understanding reasons, Chrissy and Phil have allowed me to show just a few of the picture I took from that day. So to respect their privacy, I will be as modest as I can. They did however; give me permission to show more photos from this shoot privately. Like I said, there are many more beautiful pictures taken from that day and I’m still learn more each time I do this. I’m quite proud of my work, and I don’t say that often. I hope that this was only the first of many lucky belly’s to be photographed by me! Enjoy!

Fabulous Foto Of the Week
I did my very first belly shoot this weekend, and I just LOVED it. I’m not nearly as good as the professionals are, but it was something different I could try. I always wanted to do it, but it’s all about timing with these things, you know?

So this is just one of the shots from that day and one of my favorites! I hope to be posting more soon, but I’m in the middle of editing and putting them together. I'm defiantly happy with my Fab Foto this week!
