Danielle & Bryan's Engagement Shoot

I had the pleasure of taking engagement photo’s for a friend I have known for 18 years now. I thought that I would be cruel in this post and show a picture of us together when we were 10. But as I thought about it more; I decided that it might not be such a good idea! This post is about celebrating them coming together and that’s just what I’m going to show you.

Danielle and Bryan are so cute together. I love the way he looks at her, I can tell he loves her with all his heart. It’s good to know that an old friend found such great love. I loved hanging out with them and taking the pictures that will last them a life time. Instead of talking about it… let me just show you.

Backyard Belly Shoot

I can still remember standing in line at my brother’s rehearsal asking Amanda “Are you pregnant?!?!” She just smiled and said “I didn’t want to take away from Brent and Tara’s day.” But of course, loud mouth me, couldn’t keep my big mouth shut! Anyone who was there get super excited and ask “Oh-oh, can I take you belly shots!!!!”

Twenty-four weeks later… here I am. It was the first time the whole shoot was outside. I was very exciting and their backyard is unbelievable. I kept thinking to myself that my son Jayden would just love it! I swear, it’s like a little boy’s dream world back there!

There were so many pictures I loved, but here are a few of my favorites. Chris and Amanda, you were wonderful to shoot and I can’t wait to meet your little one. Here’s hoping for a little boy and his dream back yard; oh who am I kidding, any kid would love that backyard!

The Ralston's

Last minute, I was asked to photograph the Ralston family. My VERY good friend Rhiana (who is a Ralston) that I have known for about 11 years now; text me and told me that her sister, Michelle was flying in from Iraq and they wanted to get family pictures take right away. She proceeded to apologize and tell me that I didn’t have to do it, but I texted her back and told her I would be thrilled to do it.

Everyone was there except for the Jared. He was running late and stuck in bumper to bumper traffic. Until he got there we ran around the property trying to catch the light just right and capture the most perfect picture. The Ralston’s were a hoot to shoot and I found myself laughing to myself each time I took a picture of them.

I’m so glad that I was able to do this for them and I hope that they are as happy with pictures as I am. Love you guys!

Bobbi's Belly

On Good Friday I took belly shots of Bobbi Jo Garrett thirty-nine weeks pregnant. Boy-oh-boy, I wish I looked that good at thirty-nine week! Still the most perfectly round belly, you would have never guessed she was that far along!

We had such a blast with the shoot! She was even so brave to climb into a tree for me, actually it was more her idea that it was mine! Since then, she has had baby Isaac and I hope they’ll be asking me to come back really soon! ;)

Here are some of my favorites from that day!

Gathercole Girls Birthday

Little kids birthdays just bring out the kids in me! They are filled with joy, fun and a room full of crazy kids that have eaten way too much sugar for the day. I’m glad that I have the opportunity to capture these times for friends.

My good friend, Kim had a huge birthday celebration for both of her daughters Brianna who was turning 4 and Kelsey who just turned 1. Since their birthday is just days apart she decided to get a fire hall to celebrate both the girls and have their closets friends and family. This was actually the first time my son had even been invited to a birthday party, besides the two he went to as an infant. I was exciting to me not only as a friend, but a mommy!

Here are just a few from that beautiful day!

Jim's 30th Birthday

I think in the end I’m going to be the one that documents their life for them, by them I mean Jim and Kesh Witmer... but there are no complaints from me; I’m more that thrilled to do it for them. They are dear and close friends, but I think of them as family more than anything.

Jim Witmer (adopted bro) turned 30 this past Friday and I was more than honored to photograph the evening for them. His family threw him an amazing casino themed birthday bash with all of his closest friends and family. The evening was top notch!

Well, here’s to you Jim!
Happy Birthday, I hope you like the pictures as much as you enjoyed the party!
